One of my ministries is teaching teachers;100 teachers through Christ-centered curriculum
We held 4 conferences a year with our teachers to focus on Christ as the center of our classrooms and to encourage critical thinking skills so they can become leaders for Christ.
My first day of teaching English to the 7th grade class proved to be exciting and a praise of how the Lord brought 38 students.
Our teachers have introduced hands-on materials and enable their students to feel encouraged and loved in the classroom.
The girls at pizza for the first time during Christmas as we celebrated a semester of bible studies and learning to stand up for Christ.
The Joy of Teaching English is allowing students to learn new words.  By giving the students a safe environment to try the language, they felt comfortable to learn and talk.  Most importantly, we learned Christian songs and they loved to pray in English.

The kindergarten teacher taught her students the story of the blindman that Jesus healed. When I helped them make puppets with googly eyes to represent the man that was healed, they were chanting, "Yippee I can see!"  They were so excited to act out the story.

From our first grade students 8th grade, each grade begins the day with prayer and the bible story.

The middle school students put on music drama for Easter.  One student, who is Mulsim, decided to play Jesus and his parents were thrilled that he was involved in school.  Muslim students come to our school because they know that they will have good discipline and gain a better education.

A typical chore for girls is to sweep even the dirt with brooms made out of palm branches.
While the girls sweep, the boys cut down the grass with their machetes.
Each Friday, the girls assemble at school to learn crafts but then to study the bible.  We focused on the truths that are in the bible which combat against the lies.

Not only did I get to teach at school, but I also taught a kids' club in my neighborhood.
These are the children learning about the Christmas story on Christmas Eve.  You can see that they loved the pictures from the felt board.  It was a great day to celebrate the love of Christ.

Our first grade students receive free books in their own mother tongue.  They learn to read and hear bible stories in their own language.  These students come to our school for an excellent education but at the same time receive the good news of Christ dying on the cross for their sins.

Here are the middle school students happy to learn English!
I was able to write an English curriculum that touched on Christian principles.  The students were able to keep their own books.

Here are some of the lovely girls at my house.  They enjoyed learning how to crochet and diving into the word of God.
