Ministries

The Togolese Christian School Ministry was established 10 years ago to bring the redemptive love of Christ to the children of Togo.  The public schools discipline through beatings and they teach reading stories of trickery.  Instead, our Christian Schools use positive reinforcement and teach bible lessons along with rigorous academic standards so they can be the leaders of Togo.

        Quick facts about the ministry........
  •     14 Christian Elementary Schools
  •     1 Middle School (7th-9th)
  •     2800 total students
  •     110 teachers
 Training Teachers:
  •    teacher conferences to ensure the best quality education for our students
  •    mentoring teachers in the best teaching methods and to teach with a biblical worldview
  •    director meetings to encourage their school to be a Christ-like example
  •    weekly devotionals
  •    visiting schools to encourage the teachers through the word of God
Designing Curriculum:
  • Daily bible lessons
  • daily virtue curriculum to teach practical ways to live out the Christian Faith
  • We use bible stories for the students' reading stories in order to teach principals
  • Our curriculum is more advanced which encourages families to send their students to the
Christian Schools, they want their students to achieve and at the same time they learn about God
  • We give the students hands-on materials to have a better understanding and also give them the message that we care about the students.

Teaching English:
Here are my students singing "This is the Day" in four languages; English, French, EWE, and Kabiye.  They also sing, "I have decided to Follow Jesus" in English and in Ewe.  The students know how much Jesus loved them in several languages and they are excited to share the message of Christ with others.

Middle School Bible Studies:
Young teens are being enticed my boys through gifts and money.  They then are abandoned by the boys and are sometimes left with a baby.  We are working with the teens so they can have a personal relationship with Christ.  If they have Christ, then they can stand up for the truth and avoid the temptation from men.

One of the 7th grade girls said to me, "I love bible study because I am in the word every Friday but there are so many that do not believe."  She understands the urgency to share Christ with her own people, especially other girls who think they need to feel wanted by men.  Christ loves them and wants to know them personally.

Most importantly, our schools provide a safe environment for students to succeed, know Christ personally, and share Christ with others.

Our vision is for our Christian School graduates to share the Good News with their own tribes.  They can make a difference for Togo and for Christ.
